Ingredients
- 1 Duncan Hines pineapple supreme cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter/margarine
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices, drained
- cherries
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
- Arrange pineapple slices on sugar; put cherry halves in center of each slice.
- Prepare cake as directed on package.
- Turn batter over fruit and spread evenly. Bake at 350° for 43 to 48 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes to set topping.
- Loosen cake from pan; turn upside down on platter.
