Ingredients

  • 1 regular can heavy syrup crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cornstarch or plain flour (most of the time I use flour)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows

Method

  • Mix sugar, cornstarch and pinch of salt well.
  • Add sour cream; mix well, then add the pineapple.
  • Mix well. Cook in top of double boiler until thick, stirring until thick.
  • Remove.
  • Cool and add marshmallows. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. This is a very delightful and refreshing salad.
  • Yummy also.
