Ingredients
- uncooked pie crust for 2 crust pie
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. butter
Method
- In saucepan, cook pineapple, cornstarch and 1/2 cup sugar until thick; cool.
- Roll pie crust.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon flour on bottom crust.
- Pour pineapple mixture into crust.
- Put butter on top.
- Cover with top crust; slit for steam.
- Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
