Ingredients
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 3 egg yolks
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 c. sugar
- baked pie shell
Method
- In a small saucepan, cook pineapple, egg yolks and 3/4 cup sugar.
- Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in cold water.
- Mix into cooked mixture.
- Cool.
- Beat egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar.
- Fold into cooled mixture.
- Place in baked shell and refrigerate.
