Ingredients
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. shortening
Method
- Cook together the sugar, cornstarch and crushed pineapple until thick and clear; set aside to cool.
- Mix together the flour, salt, brown sugar, rolled oats and shortening until crumbly. Spread 1/2 mixture in well-greased baking dish, then spread pineapple mixture with remainder of crumb mixture.
- Press down. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
