Ingredients
- 3 cans sliced red beets
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 24 whole cloves
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 dash of salt
Method
- Drain beets, reserving 1 1/2 cups liquid.
- Place beets and liquid along with all other ingredients; mix well and cook until thickened.
