Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 12 cup basil pesto (use your favorite pre-made ~ or make your own)
- cinnamon stick
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped fine
Method
- Cut the cream cheese in half diagonally, going corner to corner to form 2 triangles.
- Place triangles together.
- long straight edges together and short straight sides on the bottom, to form a Christmas tree shape on a serving plate.
- (A Christmas tree shaped plate would be perfect!)
- Top with pesto and insert a cinnamon stick at the base of the triangle for the "tree trunk."
- Use the chopped red pepper to decorate the "tree" -- make the red pepper look like the ornaments.
- Serve with your favorite crackers.
