Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Mix flour, sugar and salt well.
- Add shortening and mix with fork until crumbly.
- In a small bowl combine water, vinegar and egg.
- Combine the 2 mixtures.
- Divide 4 or 5 portions and wrap in Saran Wrap.
- Freeze what you do not use and refrigerate the rest for 1/2 hour before rolling out.
- Dough may be refrigerated 3 days or frozen indefinitely.
