Ingredients

  • 1 round steak, tenderized
  • 2 green bell peppers, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil

Method

  • Slice steak into 1/4-inch strips.
  • Brown steak in oil.
  • Add cornstarch.
  • Stir until cornstarch is mixed well with steak.
  • Add broth, water chestnuts, soy sauce and bell peppers.
  • Simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Add rice.
  • Cover and let set until rice is fluffy approximately 10 minutes.
