Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 jar Heinz brown gravy
  • white pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 8 oz. small noodles
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • dash of Heinz 57 or Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Form 3 patties from hamburger. Set aside. Cut up vegetables. Saute vegetables 5 minutes with spices.
  • Put patties in pan with vegetables on medium heat, covered.
  • Stir and flip patties.
  • Pour off excess fat. Remove cover after 20 minutes until meat is browned thoroughly.
  • Pour in gravy. Stir and simmer 10 minutes. While simmering, cook the noodles according to package directions. Pour steak mixture over noodles. Serves 3.
