Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (12 ounce.) tuna, liquid removed
  • 1 (2 ounce.) water chestnuts, liquid removed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 ounce. minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sherry extract
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 5 ounce. frzn snow peas

Method

  • In large non-stick skillet, brown garlic and onion till soft.
  • Sprinkle with ginger and pepper; add in sherry extract, soy sauce and water.
  • Break tuna into large chunks and add in to skillet, stirring gently.
  • Cook covered, till heated through.
  • Add in snow peas and water chestnuts and cook about 5 min or possibly till snow peas are tender-crisp.
  • Stir in vegetable oil just before serving.
  • Yield: 2 servings.
