Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. soft butter
  • dash of salt
  • 2/3 c. pecans, chopped

Method

  • Let cream cheese and butter come to room temperature.
  • Mix flour, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, cream cheese and butter. Refrigerate about 1 hour.
  • Remove dough from refrigerator; pinch into 1-inch balls.
  • Drop into 1-inch muffin tins and press on bottom and up sides of the tiny muffin tins.
  • Mix other ingredients.
  • Pour into little shells.
  • Bake in 325° oven for 25 minutes.
  • Yields 24.
  • Goes well with ice cream.
