Ingredients
- 1 stick soft oleo
- 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. melted butter
- pecan pieces
Method
- Mix stick of oleo, cream cheese and flour well.
- Form into 24 balls about size of walnut.
- Press into 24 small tart tins.
- Fill with the following: chopped pecans pieces (3 to 4 pieces in each section).
- In separate bowl, mix 2 eggs (beaten), brown sugar, vanilla, pinch of salt and melted butter.
- Pour over nut pieces to 1/4-inch from top.
- Place broken nut pieces on top of each tart. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
- Cool before removing from pan.
- These are great to freeze also.
