- 1/2 tsp. hickory-flavored natural liquid smoke
- 1 1/2 tsp. water
- 1 1/2 lb. boneless pork shoulder, trimmed of fat
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. barbecue sauce of your choice
- 6 Kaiser rolls
- creamy cole slaw
- fresh parsley sprigs
Method
- Brush pork on both sides with mixture of liquid smoke and water.
- Arrange on rack in shallow roasting pan.
- Roast in 350° oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until cooked through.
- Heat barbecue sauce.
- Slice pork; arrange on rolls, spooning warm sauce over and top with your favorite cole slaw.
- Garnish with pickle chips and parsley sprigs.
- Serves 6.
