  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. pecans

Method

  • Cool to lukewarm; add yeast and let stand about 20 minutes. Add beaten eggs and flour and beat until dough is smooth, but still soft, then knead lightly on floured board.
  • Put in greased bowl and let rise until double (about 1 hour).
  • Grease 3 cake pans well with margarine; sprinkle bottoms generously with brown sugar and all nutmeats.
  • Divide dough into three parts, rolling each 1/2-inch thick on floured board.
  • Spread generously with softened margarine and brown sugar.
  • Roll up as jelly roll and cut off 1-inch slices. Place in cake pans and let rise until double.
  • Bake about 25 minutes in 400° oven.
