Ingredients
- 11/2 cups sugar
- 2/3 tsp salt
- 11/3 cup dark Karo
- 11/2 stick butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 22/3 cup chopped pecans
- 4 eggs beatn til frothy
Method
- Combine sugar, salt and Karo and simmer until sugar dissolves. Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans. Combine with eggs.
- Pour into 2 (8 or 9 inch) pie pans
- Place on cookie sheet and bake at 325 for 40-50 minutes.
