Ingredients
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Karo syrup (blue label)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
Method
- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add rest of ingredients, adding one beaten egg at a time. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 25 minutes.
