Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 7/8 cups cherries
  • 6 3/4 tablespoons milk
  • 4 tablespoons cream
  • 6 3/8 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 13/16 ounces gingerbread
  • 6 3/8 tablespoons flour almonds
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter soften
  • 1 lemon zest

Method

  • Warm up the oven at 180°C.
  • Wash the cherries and remove the tail.
  • Put the gingerbread in the milk until the gingerbread gets soften.
  • In a blender mix the eggyolks, almonds flour, gingerbread with the milk, butter, sugar, cream and lemon zest altogether until the bread is finely mixed.
  • Beat the eggwhites until stiff adding a tbsp of sugar half way.
  • Incorporate the eggwhites to the previous mix.
  • Put the cherries in a pie plate and pour the mix on it.
  • Put in the oven and cook it for 35-40 minutes.
