Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs, syrup and vanilla.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 375° for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool to room temperature before cutting.
- Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
