Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. oleo (2 sticks), cut in pieces
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. oleo, melted
- 2 1/2 c. pecans
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Spray a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, with mixer on medium, beat flour, 1 cup oleo, 1 cup sugar and salt.
- Mixture will resemble fine crumbs.
- Press firmly into prepared pan.
- Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until golden brown.
