Ingredients
- 1 c. white syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. pecans
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Combine syrup, sugar, pecans and salt together in a pot and cook on small burner, stirring constantly.
- When it comes to a boil, cook for 12 minutes.
- Drop a pecan into cold water.
- If it is hard, then it is done.
- Stir in baking soda, it will foam up. Pour thin coat on aluminum foil.
- Do not spread out with spoon. After it cools, break into pieces.
