Ingredients

  • 4 red or bosc pears
  • 1 --9 inch pie crust
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Method

  • preheat oven to 350F
  • poke pie crust with fork to prevent crust from bubbling up
  • slice pears and arrange in crust
  • sprinkle flour over pears
  • scatter pecans over pears
  • sprinkle sugar and cinnamon
  • dab butter all over top.
  • bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden and top is bubbly.
  • serve warm, and enjoy
