Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 18 large marshmallows
- 1/2 c. milk chocolate morsels
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 (8 oz.) jar dry roasted peanuts
Method
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy 3-quart saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes or until a candy thermometer reaches 234°.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate morsels.
- Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until chocolate melts; stir in peanuts.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased wax paper; cool and store in an airtight container.
- Yield:
- 3 1/2 dozen.
