Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or cashew butter
- 3 to 4 tablespoons low-sodium teriyaki or soy sauce, or to taste
- 1 to 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or white wine vinegar, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- Cayenne pepper or any hot sauce, to taste, optional
Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor with 1/2 cup water.
- Go easy on the hot stuff, unless you definitely want a spicy sauce.
- Process until smoothly pureed.
- Heat gently in a small saucepan and use as desired.
