Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. canned milk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 6 oz. jar marshmallow
- 2 lb. pkg. confectioners sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) jar peanut butter (smooth)
Method
- Melt margarine in a saucepan.
- Stir in brown sugar and cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add milk and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, peanut butter and marshmallow.
- When melted, add peanuts (chopped), then beat in confectioners sugar.
- Mix until hard to stir and confectioners sugar doesn't blend in anymore.
- Put in a pan and spread with a spoon.
- Chill until firm, then cut into squares.
