- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. peanut butter chips
Method
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well blended.
- Beat in peanut butter.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Beat in flour mixture until combined.
- Stir in chips.
- Drop dough by slightly rounded 1/4 cupfuls 4 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.
- Press a fork into each to make a crosshatch design.
- Bake 11 to 12 minutes, or until browned at the edges.
- Let stand 2 minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
