Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Mix all ingredients except flour.
  • Mix until creamy, then add flour 1/2 cup at a time.
  • Batter will be moister than normal but you should still be able to form 2-inch balls from batter.
  • If it sticks to your fingers, add a little more flour to batch.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
