Ingredients

  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Beat peanut butter, water, butter, eggs and half of the cake mix (dry) until smooth.
  • Stir in remaining cake mix.
  • Drop dough by teaspoon 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • With fork dipped in flour, flatten in crisscross pattern.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
  • Makes 4 dozen.
