Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. light or dark brown sugar
- 2 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 2 large eggs
Method
- Sift flour with baking soda.
- Cream butter or margarine, gradually adding sugars and creaming until very light and fluffy. Blend peanut butter into creamed mixture and then beat in the eggs. Stir in flour mixture.
- Form dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Flatten slightly with tines of fork. Bake in 350° oven for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes about 5 to 6 dozen.
