Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3 c. fresh or 1 large can sliced and drained peaches (reserve juice)
  • 1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. reserved juice or milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Method

  • Mix flour, baking powder, pudding, margarine, egg and 1/2 cup milk.
  • Pour into 9-inch pie plate or square pan.
  • Make a raised edge with batter.
  • Place sliced peaches over batter; sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg.
