Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) can sliced peaches
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (4.6 oz.) pkg. vanilla cook and serve jello pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. peach juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Drain peaches; reserve 3 tablespoons juice.
  • Arrange peaches in deep 10-inch greased pie pan.
  • Cream butter or margarine; add egg, then milk, flour, baking powder, flour and pudding.
  • Cover peaches with batter.
  • Cream together cream cheese, peach juice and sugar.
  • Spread over batter to within 1-inch of sides.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
