Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 large can peaches (halved or sliced)
Method
- Melt margarine in a 9 x 11-inch pan.
- Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add margarine and milk.
- Pour in flat pan.
- Pour over peaches, juice and all. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes until cake is done and slightly browned.
- May be served warm with cream or plain. Serves 6.
