Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger (best to use ground chuck)
- 1 can baby peas
- 6 to 8 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 to 5 American cheese slices (may substitute other cheese)
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Method
- Brown hamburger.
- Remove from pan; set aside.
- Add oil to hamburger grease.
- Fry potatoes and onion in grease.
- Add hamburger when potatoes are tender.
- Pour 1 can peas with juice over hamburger mixture.
- Top with cheese.
- Cook on low until cheese is melted.
- Kids love this when cold outside.
