Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger (best to use ground chuck)
  • 1 can baby peas
  • 6 to 8 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 to 5 American cheese slices (may substitute other cheese)
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil

Method

  • Brown hamburger.
  • Remove from pan; set aside.
  • Add oil to hamburger grease.
  • Fry potatoes and onion in grease.
  • Add hamburger when potatoes are tender.
  • Pour 1 can peas with juice over hamburger mixture.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Cook on low until cheese is melted.
  • Kids love this when cold outside.
