Ingredients

  • pasta tagliatelle, or other preferred pasta
  • 1 inch water
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream may substitute milk or plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 2 tomatoes diced, may substitute 250 grams tomato puree
  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • salt
  • bouillon

Method

  • While the pasta is cooking, place a little olive oil into a pan, and heat at medium heat. Saute the onion and garlic slightly.
  • Drain the cans of tuna and add to the pan. Mix into the onion and garlic, and allow the liquid to evaporate for 1 minute.
  • Add the tomato and heavy cream. Lower the heat to low and mix. Add the salt and bouillon to taste.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain it, and add it to the tuna mixture.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and serve.
