Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
Method
- Mix ground beef, eggs, salt and pepper; shape into very small balls.
- Combine chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly and place in a large 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Add uncooked meatballs and bake, covered, at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove cover from pan the last 30 minutes of baking.
- Transfer to chafing dish and serve hot with toothpicks.
- Yield:
- 30 to 40 meatballs.
