Ingredients
- 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1/2 medium onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. dried chives or 3 Tbsp. fresh, chopped fine
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 c. nuts, well chopped
Method
- Mix together all ingredients (except for the nuts) and form a ball.
- Roll the ball in the nuts until evenly coated.
- Chill until serving time.
- Serve with crackers or garlic toast.
- The cheese ball is pretty when rolled in 1/2 c. fresh parsley mixed with the nuts.
