Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Melt butter and set aside.
- Combine all ingredients except the milk and butter.
- Stir in milk until moist. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.
- Knead 10 times until smooth.
- Roll into 12 x 4-inch rectangle and cut into 12 (1-inch) strips.
- Dip into butter and place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan in 2 rows of 6.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until light brown.
