Ingredients
- 4 firm pears
- 2 Tbsp. sweet butter
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- fresh ground pepper
- minced parsley
- lemon juice (optional)
Method
- Quarter the pears; core and pare, slice lengthwise 1/4-inch thick.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter, stirring often.
- Saute onions until golden brown.
- Remove and reserve.
