Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. oxtails
  • vegetables (canned or frozen)
  • 1 onion
  • pepper
  • salt
  • onion or garlic powder

Method

  • Season oxtails using garlic/onion powder in 4-quart pot.
  • Boil meat at medium-low temperature for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Add onion, vegetables and more seasoning (your taste).
  • Once vegetables have been added, cover pot and let it come to a boil.
  • After it reaches boiling point, lower heat to medium low setting and continue to cook for an additional 1 1/2 hours until vegetables are tender.
