Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. stew meat (1 lb. or more)
  • 1/2 pkg. sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 pkg. frozen stewing vegetables
  • 1 (16 oz.) small can vegetable juice (V-8)
  • 1/2 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/4 c. (scant) Minute tapioca

Method

  • Have stew meat cut in small pieces.
  • Take sausage out of skins and put little pieces over top of meat which you have put in roasting pan.
  • Put vegetables over that.
  • Add vegetable juice, onion soup mix and tapioca.
  • Put lid on; stir once.
  • If too thick more juice may be added.
  • Oven Temperature:
  • 300°.
  • Cooking Time: 3 hours.
