- 3 pounds fryer cut into pieces
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil
Method
- Roll chicken pieces in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
- Shake off excess flour.
- In a large cast-iron skillet, over medium heat, heat oil.
- Add chicken pieces and fry until golden brown, 10-15 minutes.
- Cover skillet and transfer to preheated 325F degree oven and let bake for about 35-40 minutes until tender.
- Meat will fall off the bone.
