- 2 lb. boneless beef stew meat
- 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
- 2 Tbsp. sugar (may omit)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can water
- 3 to 6 carrots, cut into chunks
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 to 6 cubed potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- savory salt
Method
- Mix tapioca with liquid.
- Combine with all other ingredients. Place in heavy pan with tight lid, no steam holes (foil will work).
- Bake at 250°
- to 300°
- for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
