Ingredients
- 2 to 2 1/2 cans apple pie filling
- 1 tube refrigerator biscuits
- whipped cream
Method
- Mix apple pie filling with 2/3 cup water in large skillet with a tight cover.
- When apples come to boiling, cut biscuits into quarters (use scissors).
- Let pieces drop on bubbling apples. Sprinkle biscuits with cinnamon and sugar.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- No fair peeking, but biscuits will pop up like dumplings.
- Serve at once with cream.
