Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1 c. fresh mushrooms
  • 2 c. snow peas
  • 1/4 c. celery
  • onion to taste
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 pkgs. brown gravy mix
  • 1 Tbsp. grated ginger root
  • oriental noodles or rice

Method

  • Cut steak in thin slices and brown. In a 2 qt. casserole put your pea pods, mushrooms, celery, onions and meat after browning. Take what you browned meat in and add brown gravy mix and water, cornstarch, soy sauce and ginger root. When thickened pour over vegetables and meat.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
