Ingredients

  • 34 cup butter (divided)
  • 1 cup sugar (divided)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 12 cups flour (divided)
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons Tang orange crystals (divided)
  • 14 cup milk

Method

  • Soften butter.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons butter.
  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Grease an 8 by 8 baking dish.
  • Cream 3 tablespoons (unmelted) butter, 3/4 cup sugar, and the egg.
  • Add orange extract.
  • Stir in 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt and 1 tablespoons Tang.
  • Add milk and mix until well blended.
  • Spread into dish.
  • Combine 3 tablespoons melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 2 tablespoons Tang until crumbly, sprinkle over batter in dish.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes.
