Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • orange peel minced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 120 grams dark chocolate melted

Method

  • In a saucepan add sugar, orange juice and bring to a boil
  • In another saucepan add olive oil ,semolina and stir until golden.
  • Simmer for 5 min.and stir until the mixture starts to thicken and come away from the sides of the saucepan.
  • When you've achieved the right color, add the walnuts, lemon zest and the cinnamon. Pour the syrup into the semolina and walnut mixture.
  • Remove from heat and Keep stirring until all of the syrup is combined with the semolina. Then add the chocolate chips and mix.
  • Scoop halva into bundt pan. Let cool . Pour over the melted chocolate and serve.
