Ingredients
- 6 c. sliced, pared tart apples
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. flaked coconut
Method
- Arrange apples in an 8-inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle with orange juice.
- Combine brown sugar, flour and orange rind in bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly, using pastry blender.
- Add coconut and toss to mix. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over apples.
