Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or stock
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp siracha
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 lb stir fry beef (or cut your own from your favorite cut of beef)
  • 5 baby red bell peppers (sweet peppers)
  • 1 can mandarin orange segments

Method

  • Combine the first 11 ingredients in a bowl, whisk together until combined and set aside.
  • Chop in large dice the baby red bell peppers; set aside.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high to high heat.
  • Add olive oil, heat about a minute, add beef and stir fry until done.
  • (About 7 minutes.)
  • Whisk your sauce mixture once more before adding to the beef.
  • Stir until thickened.
  • Add baby bell peppers and simmer until mandarin segments are heated through.
  • Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Serve over rice or soba noodles.
