- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 c. uncooked macaroni
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
- 1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
Method
- Crumble ground beef into 2-quart glass casserole.
- Stir in onion.
- Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
- Microwave on High for 3 minutes.
- Drain and stir in remaining ingredients; re-cover. Microwave on Defrost for 30 to 35 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
- Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
