Ingredients
- 3 lb. salad potatoes
- 1 lb. bacon
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
Method
- Cook potatoes; cool, peel and slice.
- Fry bacon until golden brown.
- Take bacon out of pan; add butter to bacon grease.
- Stir in flour until smooth.
- Mix vinegar and water together in a bowl, then slowly add to flour mixture.
- Add sugar, stirring all the time.
- Pour over potatoes with chopped onions and crumbled bacon. Stir gently until all mixed together.
- Serve.
